Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is the use of plant remedies in the treatment of disease. It is the oldest form of medicine known. It can treat a whole range of physical and emotional problems including:
- Skin Disorders
- Infections
- Digestive Upsets
- Respiratory Complaints
- Hormonal Problems
It can be used to increase stamina and ease tension during difficult times.
Children are very responsive to herbal medicines and often make the best patients. Herbal medicine offers a dual approach treatment - short-term symptomatic treatment to ease discomfort and settle the child whilst in the longer term gently rebalancing the body in a gradual but sure fashion.
Medical herbalists now commonly work alongside GP's and other complementary practitioners and will speak to them on your behalf if necessary.
